    3. RM1-3 are a completely different file format than RM4-7 (not just different fields, but different database engine). RM7 "imports" RM1-3 files, which means it has to create a new RM7 file and import the data from the RM1-3 file. This creates a new RM7 file and leaves the RM1-3 file intact. RM7 "converts" RM4-5 files, which means it just opens the existing file and makes changes to it to bring it up to the RM7 format. This means your RM4-5 file has been changed to RM7 format. If you want the RM4-5 file to remain intact you will need to make a copy (or backup) of it first to continue to use with RM4-5. RM7 "opens" RM6 files. They are the same format and can be opened in either version. - Bruce On Mon, Mar 9, 2015 at 9:11 AM, Jim Belanger via < [email protected]> wrote: > One more question, if you please. > > I've upgraded to RM7.
