Try turning Alt Names OFF and see if it changes anything. When you look at the names in the index is there a box in front of one of them? Yes means there is an alternate name. It can be removed in "Edit Person". If no then is there a 2 next to the person when in family list? A number can mean 2 or more marriages. The spouses should show in edit person. In the family listing clicking on the number will go from one spouse to the other or next one. Are the spouses the same? I also had this problem using RM7. I finally printed out a Family Group Sheet so that I had all the needed information and then deleted the person and re-entered the person and made all the connections with spouse, parents and children.
