Every time I updated my genealogy program it would cause Webroot to deny cut/copy & paste functions to it, although other programs were not affected in the least.If you have WEBROOT the solution to this is:Double-click on the WEBROOT icon to invoke the programClick on the little "gear icon" to the right of "identity protection"On next screen click on the "application protection" tabOn next screen look the RM executable file listed on the "slider" under "protect-allow-deny"If the RM exe file has a white dot in the "allow" column, click on it to "allow" Good luck

My suggestion would be to turn off WEBROOT before installing RootsMagic updates. Then turn it back on. If is too much trouble then get another antivirus program. I had that type of problem with my flash drives and my antivirus program, but now they are working well together. Sometimes updates are not yet compatible until the other updates too. Tell WEBROOT the problem. The problem is theirs not RootsMagic. They will want it to work so you don't go to another antivirus program. On Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 9:32 AM, John M.
