You actually have the capability to do it anyway you want. To me it depends on your goal. If you want to eventually pass on your family story then add enough to make it enjoyable to read. For example, "he resided in named city from 1900 to at least 1940 and he was a farmer throughout those years. ". You can document this with one residence fact and attach all sources. I like to source based on each person so they stand alone when running reports or when writing a story about a group of people or families. If you want to document every source for serious genealogists then list every residence, year, and occupation and provide every source. You can adjust each sentence any way you want.
