I am new to RM and am having trouble converting from TMG, especially with fact type sentences. For example, in TMG the marriage tag hasthis sentence: [RP:Groom] married [R:Bride] <[PARO]><[L]> <[D]>. <[M].>. <[PARO]> is the parents of the spouse. [D] is the place detail. When I do a direct import to RM from my TMG database the marriage sentence appears as [Person] married [Spouse] <[PARO]> <[Date]> <[Place]>. In TMG the marriage sentence appears in reports as He married Margaret Eleanor Spaulding, daughter of John Albert Spaulding and Orpha Livona Jenks, in the Methodist Church, Poultney, Rutland, Vermont on 01 Mar 1936. In RM the sentence appears as Roger Clinton Wood married Margaret Eleanor Spaulding [PARO] on 1 Mar 1936 in Poultney, Rutland, Vermont. The place detail (in the Methodist Church) is also lost in the transfer Am I doing something wrong, or is this a problem with RM? Thanks for any suggestions. John Wood
