The only transfer mechanism from FTM versions post 2006 is via GEDCOM. Likewise for Ancestry. RootsMagic Inc encourages us users to press Ancestry to make an API available to 3rd party developers so that their software could interact directly with Ancestry in ways similar to what can be done with FamilySearch and with MyHeritage.
