    3. Database files like RootsMagic, TMG, Legacy should never be synced with Dropbox (and similar products). Only backup files should be stored in Dropbox. Your various Rootsmagic database files are interacting and exchanging data as you work in RM. It is easy for a bit of data to be dropped while syncing, causing corruption to RM. If it has not happened yet, it will.
