Oh, I see. This is about what to enter. When I have two or three different dates I either enter all of them or enter a range of dates. Whether it's proper doesn't bother me. The fact that Roots Magic lets me enter what I see fit and then actually prints it out on reports, was one of several key criteria in my decision to use Rootsmagic. If you don't put all of the information, then when you upload your data to a place like Ancestry that won't display your notes, people will blindly copy your not necesssarily right information, and it will profiferate all over the Internet. Some census takers ask how old the person is, some ask (as they should) how old at the next birthday.
