Hi Em, You'll probably want to send your question to the RootsMagic-Users list itself (you sent it just to me, the list administrator). That email address is rootsmagic-users@rootsweb.com Drew Smith RootsMagic-Users List Administrator On Thu, Mar 17, 2016 at 4:09 PM, Emery St Cyr <eastcyr@cox.net> wrote: I had printed out a family group sheet in Jan on a family in my system. I went to look up the party to add some more information and discovered that most of the info that was on the print out was no longer there. If I reenter the missing data they end up getting new numbers. My father in law was the only child listed because he is also entered as head of his household. I had not entered the other siblings yet and was about to do that. What happened to my information? Bewildered am I. Em

    3. Em, My first thought was that you might have more than one database and used one to create the report, but now are looking at a different database. If you do not know if you have more than one file, close out the one you are currently using, then go to File Open Recent It will then show all the RM database files that you have. If you only have the one, you may have to use a backup file and restore to a previous date. 3. I have either lost or misplaced my latest copy of rootsmagic. I need to install it on my laptop as we're going to take a genealogy class. Is it possible you could send me another copy? Thanks in advance, Judy Ruzich

    3. Joy, this isn't the case. When I hover over open recent the box is blank. I don't remember making another one or ever tried to make one. My only other place to check is if I did the work on a flash drive and made the printout from it, but don't remember doing anything like that as I usually do the computer first and then the back up. Thanks for writing. 3. Em If you saved the Group Sheet bfore pinting then look under My Documents; If not saved then the print-out is the only place to look for the data. Unless you backed up your database, then you can regather the Group again sith new data added.. 3. Jon, I have a copy of the report I just don't have that information in the database and I couldn't have printed it out unless it was actually there.
