    3. Right, some still don't get it. If I create a named group using the procedure repeatedly described to include only my ancestors that have no parents and I name it "My Ancestors sans Parents", I can have the Individual List print that group. How? By choosing the option "Selected people" and, from the "People to include" dropdown list, by selecting "My Ancestors sans Parents". I do not need or want the overriding option "No parents" because that disables my group filter. I created the EOL list by the procedure of first selecting all ancestors, then deleting those with parents. That list is 2 pages long, and I've printed it out and looked at the data, and it is indeed those people at the End of Lines of my ancestors. However, if I then use that as the selection criteria that you describe above, I get a list 22 pages long, ie, the end of Line for everyone in my database. This is why I stated that there is a bug in the program. It "should" do exactly what you describe, but for me, it doesn't. Admittedly, for those people who might have a database that includes ONLY their ancestors, that procedure gives them what they want. This is why creating an ancestor group, then exporting that group to a new database, and doing the EOL procedure on that database, works. -- Charlie Hoffpauir http://my.rootsmagic.com/CRHoffpauir/ http://sites.rootsmagic.com/CharlieHoffpauir/ http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~charlieh/ http://www.familytreedna.com/group-join.aspx?Group=Hoffpauir
