    3. Thanks Jerry! Will give this a try also! There is always going to be a point, at least in my lifetime, where some folks will not have parents given!!!! So much fun trying to figure these things out! After the group of end of line ancestors is successfully created, you can do lots of things with it. The quickest and easiest report to produce with the group is probably the Individual Report, but the Individual Report produces a lot of paper as you describe above. You can get much less paper (like none!) by using People View in combination with your group and it's really easy to use. You get one line of data per person, so the list of data is very short. Unfortunately, you can't get B-M-D data in People View, only B-D data because People View does not support marriage facts or any other "family facts" (facts for couples) such as divorce. It doesn't seem to me that there is a good reason for this restriction on couple facts in People View, but the restriction is there. You can get much less paper by using a Custom Report in combination with your group. Setting up a Custom Report in RM is not the most user friendly thing in the world, but neither is it rocket science. Basically you "draw a picture" of what you want your report to look like. Your report will have rows and columns. Most typically, your columns will be data elements such as name, birth date, marriage date, and death date. Most typically there will be one row in the report for each person, although you can have more than one row for each person if all the data you want to see won't fit on one line of text. But if you have more than one row for each person, then your report often won't line up in columns very nicely. When you "draw your picture" of what you want you report to look like, you have a header row with column headers such as "Name", "Birth Date", etc. and you have a data row called Row 1 where you specify the fields you wish to display for each person such as name, birth date, etc. You can have a Row 2, a Row 3, etc. for each person, but as I already mentioned it's not common to do so. After you actually generate the report, you can look at it on the screen (no paper), print it (small amount of paper), or save it as something like a text file or an rtf file (no paper).
