I found the easiest way around the problem was to create a Named Group of my direct ancestors only, export a GEDCOM of that group only, create a new database, import the GEDCOM, and create the Individual Report, People who have no parents entered It only took a few minutes all up. That's a very clever solution, and I applaud your creativity. I think the export/import technique as a way to get the report exemplifies the need for RM to provide an ancestors end of line report in a way that's more easy to use. In the meantime, I would suggest that marking your ancestors and then unmarking all the individuals in your database with parents would be much simpler and faster than creating a new database. It's just that marking some people and then immediately unmarking some of the people you just marked is not intuitively obvious. Jerry
