I hadn't been following this thread closely, but I decided to investigate. I was still on 7.2.0.0, and I couldn't find an end of line report as described. So up updated to 7.2.0.1, and I still can't find an end of line report as described. So this report is very mysterious. Where is it really? I don't think it exists. (By the way, the 7.2.0.1 update does not take place automatically as is usually the case. There is a little bug in the way it was placed on the RM Web site, and the only way to install it is to download it from the site. Normally, your RM welcome screen will give you the new update automatically, but not 7.2.0.1 due to the bug in the way it was placed on the site.) Since the "easy way" of using an end of line report doesn't exist - or since it doesn't exist for myself and at least for some other users - let's revisit the "hard way". So let's make a group. You need to make the group by marking your ancestors and then while you are still in the mark/unmark dialog by unmarking (clear data by data fields) Number of sets of parents -> not equal to -> 0. So you mark all your ancestors and then unmark the ones who are not your end of line ancestors. What will be left will be your end of line ancestors. Finish making your group, and you have your "end of line ancestors" group. Now go to the Individual List or a Custom list or any report that lets you select a group and select your newly made group. Done. The problem users are having with the group way of making the report is is as follows. First, they are making a group of all their ancestors, not just a group of their end of line ancestors. Second, they are printing the group with the Individual List and the Individual List does not include the option they need. The Individual list has four options: 1) selected people (which can be a group) 2) no parents, 3) multiple parents, and 4) unlinked. These four options and mutually exclusive. People seem to be selection option #1, selecting their group, and then selecting option #2 to get just their end of line ancestors. But as soon as you select option #2, you are no longer selecting option #1. Your group is still there in box where you chose it, but it is no longer selected because you are on option #2 now instead of option #1. It's a very confusing user dialog. So you have to choose your end of line ancestors when making the group, not when printing the report. By the time you get around to printing the report it's too late. Jerry
Oh, and I just came up with a possible theory as to where this mysterious "End of Line Report" is coming from. Perhaps someone created a group consisting of all their end of line people, and named the group "End of Line Report". After all, groups can be named anything you wish. Absent that, somebody is going to have to produce a screenshot of the RM option where the "end of line report" option exists before I will be convinced. Jerry
