This really sounds quite impossible (or else there is a nasty bug in RM that I can't recreate). Could I prevail on you to try a simple experiment? It shouldn't take but a couple of minutes of your time. Either recreate your group just like you did the first time around. Or better yet, maybe it still exists and you can just use it as it is without having to recreate it. Having recreated the group (or having found that it still exists), go into People View and select your group. If you are not familiar with People View, it's just one of the Views like Pedigree View, Family View, etc. and there will be a tab for it across the top of the View area. Once in People View, select your group. There is a big button at the top of People View that defaults to Show Everyone. Click on that button and there will be a drop down box listing all your groups. Select the group you made with your end of line ancestors. Your group will now be displayed in People View. This is a much easier and probably more accurate way to inspect a group than is creating a custom report. Just by scrolling up and down the members of the group in People View, it should be easy to see if your group contains just your end of line ancestors in your database (the short list) or all end of line people in your database (the long list). Let us know what you see. Thanks, Jerry P.S. (and not to be belabor the obvious), when you get the drop down list of groups in People View, be sure that there are not two different groups with very similar names, where one of the groups might be the long list by accident and the other group might be the short list.

    3. Jerry, you don't need a custom report. Once you have created the group, quit. Then open the regular "individual summary". Where it says "Current person", change that to [your named group]. Don't make any other changes unless you want more or less detail from the "Items to print for each person". If you just want the names of "your named group" then remove all the check marks". Then "generate report". Sue On May 20, 2016, at 10:30 AM, Jerry Bryan via <rootsmagic-users@rootsweb.com> wrote: >> I first created a group. Inspected the group and it "looked" like it was >> right.
