The problem is solved! This little bit of RM user interface is very confusing. If you first click the name of the group and then click on the No Parents button, the name of the group should disappear (or at least become grayed out) because the group is no longer selected. The way the user interface works now, it looks like you are applying the No Parents button to the selected group, but you are not. Having clicked on the No Parents button, the name of the group has now has become irrelevant but the user interface makes it look like the name of the group is still in full force. Jerry
