Yesterday, Ancestry told me I was using the wrong password. However, just as in your situation, it was the same PW I've had for years. To fix it, I went to Ancestry , clicked on "forgot your password", they sent me an email, and I re-set my password using my same old password. That fixed it. Ancestry must have had a weird glitch yesterday.
