I don’t think this message made it to the list so I am sending it again. A few days back, I tried creating a sharable cd, and at first thought it did not work. Every time I inserted the cd I could access my user name and my details, but the database only came up blank without names. Today, I tried the cd again. After clicking to bring up the cd, it took several minutes to bring up any names on screen. After the names I showed up I clicked properties to see if the whole database was there. After about two minutes, that screen came up. Then I tried going from one generation to the next and again it took forever to advance one generation at a time. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? I have a database of almost 242,000 names. Is it simply too large to let the cd access the names more quickly? Margaret Scheffler
