Is it possible to create a report in RM7 that lists all the relatives of a person, based on a relationship type, ie all second cousins of a person? I have recently got results from DNA testing that suggest matches in the range 2nd to 4th cousin. I have no obvious surname matches, so I'm trying to work out where the gaps in my research might be. I'm happy to use SQLLite, if that's the only way. Thanks for any help. Regards David Chilly Sydney Australia
Try the Kinship report with you as the reference person, save to text format, open in Excel and use its filter or sort on the relationship. With SQLite, see http://sqlitetoolsforrootsmagic.wikispaces.com/Relationships Tom On Sun, Jun 26, 2016 at 3:38 AM, David Finnigan via < rootsmagic-users@rootsweb.com> wrote: > Is it possible to create a report in RM7 that lists all the relatives of a > person, based on a relationship type, ie all second cousins of a person? > > > > I have recently got results from DNA testing that suggest matches in the > range 2nd to 4th cousin. David, from personal experience, keep your mind open to the possibility of a "skeleton in your closet or in theirs"! It's a fascinating experience! David I don't think there is in RM, but the Kinship List will give you a lot of options such as sorting by color coding Jon On 6/26/16, David Finnigan via <rootsmagic-users@rootsweb.com> wrote: > Is it possible to create a report in RM7 that lists all the relatives of a > person, based on a relationship type, ie all second cousins of a person? > > > > I have recently got results from DNA testing that suggest matches in the > range 2nd to 4th cousin.
