I overestimated what the "value" switch expression could be when I started, too. Unfortunately, it cannot do string comparisons on field value; it only tests if the field is not empty. So you might want to incorporate the verb in the [Desc] value, e.g., "was killed in action" "was shot for treason" "died a slow and painful death from paralysis of the bowel" "died of cancer" with the default verb "died" in the switch when [Desc is empty.
