A belated thank you to Paul, Pat, Margaret and Rick for responding to my earlier (4/4) query about RM's database tools. Long a user--and lover--of RM3 and earlier versions since FO7, I didn't realize that later versions of RM have useful database tools that RM4 lacks. But, apparently, even RM7 still does not have one to help with the issue of duplicate source templates of my one new user-created project-specific template. Twenty-one copies of that template seemed to appear suddenly in one RM4 database of 945 names entered individually. None had been entered via drag-and-drop from another database. Managed to carefully identify and eliminate all but ten of the culprets without losing anything, but the remainder have me stymied. See that Tom Holden has an SQLITE solution for duplicate source templates, but this soon-to-be-octagenarian doesn't have a clue, nor the courage, to try to apply it. Don't want to risk deleting any, as all are said to "have sources using this source," and I see no way of determining what they are. But maybe someone on the list can hold my hand in merging these apparently identical duplicate templates. TIA --Sandra Studebaker in Michigan
