Hi, I have this problem too! I have SOURCE TEMPLATES duplicated many times. I think, but I'm not sure, this happened after dragging and dropping people from one database to another. I am not at all computer savvy either! I think that RM should address this problem and fix it. If it is a consequence of dragging and dropping, they certainly shouldn't be recommending the procedure in their videos! Instead, they should be warning people never to do it. I certainly don't know what to do about the duplicates. Someone recommended that I go through the source list and eliminate any duplicates. I tried that. There weren't many and deleting them in no way affected the duplicate source templates. One of them is duplicated 8 times. Custom Source Templates and, I believe, custom Fact Types are treated as new when transferred, even if there is a duplicate in the target database. I agree that this should be handled better. Carol, Was leery of deleting duplicate source tempates as a cautionary note indicates that "There are sources using this source. If you delete this source type, RootsMagic will remove all sources of this type from your database."
