You don't even need to take the step to delete the marriage. Just highlight the woman who is linked to her father-in-law, right click on her and chose unlink spouse. I find this easiest to right click on the name and chose unlink. If you unlink a married couple without first deleting the marriage the program keeps reporting the marriage as an event when you run the "properties" function. Thanks for that Jim. Deleting the marriage was something I was sure was necessary, then I couldn't get the daughter in law and father in law unlinked. Thanks to you I finally did make it work right.
