Sandra replied privately that she is using RM4. The safety check on deleting a template that is used by a source may not have been implemented until later. I was able to delete all but two of the duplicates. So, they were duplicated, but not in use anywhere. Odd. They were all from The Master Genealogist. I don't know if that is pertinent to the problem, or if it's just a fact that most of my source templates naturally are from TMG.
