    1. [RMagic] Place-holder commas in Footnotes
    2. Lisa Gorrell
    3. Hi, I don't always fill in every box in the source template because I put a lot of the information in the details. However, now my footnotes have extra commas where the information was supposed to be. I'm working on the "Census, US State (off site)" template. My footnote looks like this: 4th ward City of Atchison, p. 2, dwelling 8, family 10, J Hulaniski household, 1885 Kansas State Census, Atkinson County, pop sched, , ; , Ancestry.com, http://www.ancestry.com. Is there a way to have the "empty fields" and commas suppressed? Lisa Gorrell

    3. RMGB is the backup file, you need to RESTORE it rather than open it. You will also have to copy any of the media files you linked to the database to the new computer and it is easiest to put them in the same folder path as they were on the old computer. Or, after copying them, do a search and replace of the Media file names and replace the old path with the new one. 3. I don't offer a fix. Just that it has been sent to RM support. I asked if anyone else has had that problem and was asked for details which are attached. Since I have the latest version of RM and have corrected it once to have it happen again, it is a bug/glitch of some kind. Your choice on name until explanation is forthcoming. 3. Using the Family view, display the father and the Unknown Spouse and family. Right click on the father and choose delete and slide over to family. There are two choices, the default is to unlink this family, DO NOT CHOOSE THE OTHER which would delete all the people. 3. Hello Everybody, Have I missed the point? My understanding is that people are having problems generating a Family Group Sheet, or am I mistaken? I ask because I find that by clicking on a person in the database, over 6000 people, then clicking on Reports and selecting Family Group Sheet, then clicking on Generate Report, I get a complete F.G.S. on the screen that I can print. Am I the lucky one? I am using the free version. Regards, Rod.

    3. If you delete a Place Detail from the Place List, it is no longer available to any of the events that used it and they will be blank. If, rather, in the Edit Person screen, you delete a Place Detail from an event, The Place Detail remains in the Place List and continues to be available to all other events that use it. Your terminology is confusing. There is no death place detail list nor is there more than one Place Detail list for any one Place. There can be a Place Detail list for a Place that is used by a death event or any number of events of mixed types. And each Place Detail can be used by many different events and types of events. That's the double-edged sword of relational databases - you only have to enter and maintain the data for the place in one location but deleting it removes it from all uses! This does not sound like a bug.
