How does one join the new list?
Since I am among those that do not do FB I have moved to the list on groups.io (thank you Tom or Jim - which?). This entry is just in case you owe me money and want to track me down over there. fahumm (at) gmail (dot) com \s\Rick
In Report Settings select 'Layout' Then the Header/Footer tab then uncheck Print Header I think that will remove the date Terry PS most people are using io.groups now. Rootsweb groups will cease shortly -----Original Message----- From: rootsmagic-users-request@rootsweb.com [mailto:rootsmagic-users-request@rootsweb.com] Sent: 24 February 2020 21:29 To: rootsmagic-users@rootsweb.com Subject: ROOTSMAGIC-USERS Digest, Vol 15, Issue 28 Send ROOTSMAGIC-USERS mailing list submissions to rootsmagic-users@rootsweb.com To subscribe via email send a message with subject subscribe and body subscribe to rootsmagic-users-request@rootsweb.com To unsubscribe via email send a message with subject unsubscribe and body unsubscribe to rootsmagic-users-request@rootsweb.com You can reach the person managing the list at rootsmagic-users-owner@rootsweb.com When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of ROOTSMAGIC-USERS digest..." Thanks to all. Problem solved. Senility must be setting in.
When you go to print the report, click on the Layout button. Then click on the Header/Footer tab. The date is in the right section of the header if it has not been moved by you. Delete the section text. On 2/24/2020 4:28 PM, Sam Wonders wrote: > I am referring to the date at the top of the page. Years ago I produces > two books directly from Family Origins for publication. That's our Alfred. I actually visited him and his wife at their farmhouse in Fedora (population 30) back in June 2007 (thanks Google calendar) when we were on a vacation to Mt Rushmore. He not only started the ROOTSMAGIC RootsWeb list, but also ran the FAMILY-ORIGINS RootsWeb list for years before that. He was my first beta tester for RootsMagic back when I was writing it to replace Family Origins. He was a good guy, and holds a place in my heart for all his help in the early days of RM. - Bruce On Sat, Feb 15, 2020 at 5:02 AM <ve3meo@gmail.com> wrote: > > [RMagic] Test message! > > Alfred Eller > > 9/30/2002, 1:39:48 PM > > This is a Test! > > This is only a test! > > If it had been a real message you would have found some profound bits of > > wisdom contained within and you could have told me where to go. > > > > But since it is only a test, you can just delete this message. > > > > > > Alfred D. Ancestry RootsWeb will shut down all RootsWeb Mailing Lists as of March 2, leaving just the Archives of messages in place. If you want to continue with mailing list technology in support of your interests in the RootsMagic software and with one that operates independently of RootsMagic Inc., then follow up this invitation to join the new RootsMagic-Users group <https://groups.io/g/RootsMagic-Users/> on groups.io, You can subscribe online or by sending an email to RootsMagic-Users+subscribe@groups.io. The groups.io technology provides many enhancements over that of RootsWeb including a much richer website. But you can also interact solely by email if that's your wont. For users that are averse to Facebook and given the closed-door policy and reluctant support from RootsMagic Inc. for its Forums site, the RootsWeb list and now the new group are the better venues for interaction with fellow users. The former has but 28 days of life remaining. However, be aware that the new group has but 127 members so far compared to 21,000 on the Facebook group (although we know nothing of how many are active). Tom
