    3. I have tried for almost 10 years to find Great grandparents Chester A. and Anna Bell (Annie) Horton with daughter Luella May, born 1856, 1862 and Dec. 15, 1878 respectively, in the 1880 census for Hardin County, Iowa where Luella May(my grandmother) was born and also tried Grant Co., WI where Anna Bell's father lived. I have tried many variations and no luck. I found Chester in the 1885 Iowa state census living with his mother, Mary J(ane) Horton and siblings where he was described as divorced. But no Anna Bell and Luella May anywhere so far. We know Chester married a 2nd time in 1887 and went to Kansas where he was in 1895, again being shown as divorced which is correct as he was divorced a 2nd time in 1892--have divorce papers. In 1895, Luella May is shown as Mary L. and living with her grandmother, Mary Jane Horton in Hardin Co., Iowa. Nothing on Anna Bell, though. Anna Bell married Frank Bryant in 1891 or 1892 in Hardin County, IA and is shown in the Hardin County, Iowa census in 1900; Luella May went to Kansas and was living with her father, Chester Horton, in Ottawa Co.,KS. But where in the world were these people in 1880 and the females in 1885? My own little puzzle. Ella Mae Schmidt
