Absolutely correct and well said. I have been able to identify cousins as far as 8th cousins and some first or second cousins up to 6 generations removed. RootsMagic also tells me I am my own 5th cousin (twice) and my own 6th cousin (also twice). I am also 7th cousins, 3 times removed from President Theodore Roosevelt and 8th cousins with the late Marlon Brando, etc. Certainly no biggie but indicative of how one can identify relationships.
