    2. That must be frustrating. I've been finding many errors as well. Some due to handwriting, but some obviously carelessness by the census taker. I. E. I know that Surray Argyle Inman knew that his sister-in-law, Mabel Inman, had never married, yet she was listed as a widow. Also, the women were listed as sisters of the Head of Household, when actually, they were sisters of his wife. That's just plain carelessness by the enumerator! On the bright side, Ancestry has made it very easy for corrections to be added, and especially glad they have a place to explain your reasons for the change. All in all, I'm just glad the 1940 is finally available! Jerry Greenwood
