ANSWER TO BELOW: Shirley, You didn't mention a surname or even a time frame or the County/Counties involved, and Nebraska has some of the worst records on line but there are some places you might try and find what you're looking for. Find a Grave is a good place to start and some others which I have put in below. If none of them work to find what you're looking for I would suggest that if you have the County and/or Counties where the person might have died then contact the Library and the Historical Society of the county/counties involved. Sometimes they have information that is not on line but will gladly furnish it for a small price usually. They say they are free, but than you have to give a lot of info, and a credit card number. I looked through several web sites, even one that is always referred to as the State Genealogy, and it's just one disappointment after another. I went through several that looked legitimate and kept putting in what I was looking for, with no good answers. It is so frustrating to waste a couple of hours, looking for a real genealogy site you can trust. Especially as I am up there in years and can't travel as I once could, I get discouraged.
