Philitus/Phitetus Pierce, was born Nov 6 1827 in Springfield, Sangamon Co. Illinois, died Sept 24 1902 in Taylor, Buffalo co., Nebraska. I found him on the 1900 census in Sartoria County in Illinois. He was written up "Biographical Souvenir of Buffalo county" I am looking for his grave, have search the cemeteries that have a data base, with no luck. His wife Louisa Noyes Pierce died in 1908, in Little Sioux, Harrison Co., Iowa, she was living with a married daughter. I went through the cemetery on line, in that city, but she wasn't there. I am just not having any luck at all, this was a man who lived for years in Nebraska, and was well known. Sully
