I cannot find my 2nd great grandfather in Ireland nor do I know when he came to the U.S.. William O'Gorman (or Gorman) was born in Tipperary County, Ireland 29 SEP 1803. He married Sarah Walker Jones in Sumter, Alabama 22 MAY 1832. I think the O' was dropped when he crossed the pond. He died in Hillsboro, Union County, Arkansas 13 JAN 1851. If I find him in Ireland I'll know if he had brothers and sisters. I subscribe to the international version of Ancestry.com but so far I haven't turned up a clue.
