Thank you for your suggestions regarding the location of William Mayo's grave, and his obit. Bill was the son of Marion Seymour Mayo. While his middle name is not available to me at the moment, it is not Ernest, I think. The Mayo's usually picked out a family name and Ernest doesn't fit the bill. Bill was killed in Dec, 1944. Family tradition says Marion died shortly after bringing Bill home from Europe. Uncle Marion's wife was Beatrix [Tomkins] MAYO of Houston. I am so relieved to know where Marion - Doc - is buried. I thank you so much for the information. The Hall of Remembrance William MAYO must be another Bill. Not an uncommon name, it appears per Jean Bunch's Google suggestion. Why Marion's Bill is not in the same location is a puzzle. I''ll try the Westwood cemetery and the other military one in Riverside. Many thanks - Avery
