I help work on ArchiveGrid, which is a database run by OCLC Research of records describing archival collections. Most of these records come from contributors (mostly college and university archives, libraries, and museums) in North America and a few come from contributors in Europe. We are conducting a survey to find out how researchers use and share information about archival and special collections materials. ArchiveGrid is a useful tool for anyone seeking primary sources because we index thousands of records describing archival collections which might help genealogists and family historians with their research.
