Seeking any info on John Trumbull, born 1856 Oneida Co, NY to William Trumbull and Mary Moulter. In 1880, John and wife Vina (Melvina Burchard) wer living at Eaton, Madison Co NY, with Melvina's mother Jeannette Burchard, 42, widow. By 1883 they were living Gloversville, Fulton Co NY, but John was no longer there after 1884. John W. Trumbull was always listed as "Painter", but I don't know if he was an artist and perhaps went somewhere to further his studies, or ?. His widow Mrs. Melvina was always listed in directories of G'ville, living near her mother-in-law Mary Trumbull and/or sisters-in-law, Ida and Orilla Trumbull. December 5,1893 a newspaper noted that "Mrs Melvina Trumbull of South Market street, left yesterday for Chicago." Went where?   Most grateful for anything helpful. Lois   P.S.
