I think the records (pension records) are only available by order, the smaller one is $25.00 and the whole package for the pensioner is like 75.00. I've looked for them online, and the one at ancestry lists only pensioners name and a contact person? My biggest problem was chasing over two states, lived in Missouri and enlisted in Vigo Co. all Civil War pension records at NARA, up to 100 pages, is 75 dollars and if over 100 pages, 25 cents per additional page. Smaller file (aka selected records) was discontinued permamently at the time of price increase to 75 dollars.
