Hello listers, I am trying to figure out what family search is saying to me and could use some clarification. I found on Gen Web internments for Rensselaer Co. N.Y. an entry for James R. Brown Jr., parents Sarah A. and James R. Brown died 11 Aug 1869. Buried in the old Maple Grove cemetery. Hoosick, N.Y. I came across information on Family search that said he was born abt. 1858 and was in the 1860 census. I have a copy of that census and it only shows Sarah E, and James with a son William H, at 11/12, years old at the census date of 18 July,1860. Sarah was 17 at this time and they both are living with her parents. This would make her 15-16 years old when James Jr. was born I had previously estimated that they were married abt. 1859, but that may have to be adjusted some. What am I missing, or is there an error on Family search's part? Thanks for all help offered. Em Roanoke, VA.
