My ancestors John Harvey and Elizabeth Felix married in Orange County, VA on 22 Jan 1800. I don't know who John's parents were but Elizabeth's father was William Felix, as he gave permission to the marriage. I would like to research these families there but I can't find deeds abstracted in any books beyond 1778. Elizabeth's family left Berks Co., PA in 1790 so there's the possibility that both the Harvey and Felix families had records there from 1790-1800 or earlier. (John and Elizabeth (and her father) left for Hardin County, KY shortly after the marriage.) Does anyone know if Orange County deeds or court minutes have been abstracted in book form during this time period? Thanks, Barton Lewis
