    1. [ROOTS-L] Need help with some records
    2. Hi, I am so proud of the men who volunteered to serve our country in the Revolutionary War. They were willing to fight and even died for the rights that we have today. So much of our Constition and the Bill of Rights are based upon what they fought for. I am trying to compile a paragraph on eac of the sons of Michael and Margaret Slaymaker FICKEL I know some of you are well versed on this war and hope someone can help. I have notes on the following Fickel/Fickle records but can't find the information. >From Maryland History Magazine Vol. 22 September 1927 No. 3 Daniel and Bejamin Fickel enlisted July 1, 1775 in Capt. Thomas Price's Company of the Riflemen of the United Colonies. They marched to Boston. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this arrticle? I would like to know if there is more than just this short bit. I would especially like to know what this unit did in Boston? ISAAC FICKEL Served from Talbot Co. MD 1781. It is in the Archives of MD Vol 18 page 408. Does anyone know how I can get a copy of this page. WILLIAM WILSON. Husband of Esther Fickel I have a copy of the unit that Lieutenant William Wilson was in in Lancaster CO. PA. I am trying to find out more about his war record. He is buried in Ohio. Is there a way to find out what battles each of the units from Lancaster Pa and Frederick Co MD engaged in?? Thanks for any help that you can be. I do have the records from Fold3 so do not need them.
