    1. Re: [ROOTS-L] 1940 Federal Census Corrections via Ancestry.com
    2. ANSWER TO BELOW: Sandy, You didn't give any names or other clues as to your family but Nebraska has been indexed. I checked only the city of Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska with no name given. There are 9,857 that came up.....however some came up with no names or maybe first names only, etc. Most that I looked at had at least the approximate year and place of birth. There were well over 100 of those. If you can put in only the year and place of birth maybe you can find your family. If so you can probably make the needed correction. Hope this helps, Gretchen ORIGINAL MESSAGE: From: Sandra Jacobson <sandra.j@comcast.net> Subject: [ROOTS-L] 1940 Federal Census Corrections via Ancestry.com To: _roots@rootsweb.com_ (mailto:roots@rootsweb.com) Shirley M. or anyone else might know the answer to this question. Does anyone know how to submit corrections for the 1940 Federal Census via Ancestry.com? My family did not come up in any of the searches. I had to find them via searching each page in the 71-11 Enumeration District for Columbus, Platte County, NE. Because this type of search is still in BETA version I didn't see/find the traditional ways to submit corrections. Thanks again! Sandy J.
