I have FTM but didn't know what PAF was so I Googled PAF and found "PAF for MAC" so I took a look and saw even more software listed that I had not heard of. I'm currently using Reunion 9 and found there is a Reunion 10 so I ordered it. I have FTM, GEDitCOMII, and Reunion 9 for Mac and I've tried to keep all three up to date with my tree because I haven't fully made up my mind which I want to stay with. Then I have The Master Genealogist Gold version from when I used Windows so it has gone unused for years. I'm not LDS and not far enough along to be concerned about writing a report but I do want software that is quick to navigate and easy to enter new people. I liked FTM for the way it synced with Ancestry.com but some things were really clunky to enter, such as a second wife or husband and more children. So I'm currently using Reunion 9 again. I have notes all over the place and have no idea how they will be treated when the time comes for me to commit this to writing. I'm sure everyone has their favorite software but I'd like to know why it is the favorite. Gale Gorman Houston On Jul 23, 2012, at 9:15 PM, BARTON LEWIS wrote: okay, good sound advice.
