Not finding a death but I did find this City Directory Name: Ruth Balding (Wid Anson) Location 2: 519 e 2d Year: 1893, 1894 City: Little Rock State: AR No proof there but I think it says he died 1892 or earlier. The 1890 directory shows a John Balding but no other.
