    3. Technical support for PAF was discontinued as of July 1, 2012. There is no support at all left for it. The closes alternative is Ancestral Quest (the writers who wrote AQ are the same one who gave PAF version 1 to 5.2 to LDS Church). The PAF is so outdated in itself. No support for proper citations and sources. Of many software out there, only 3 are approved as affiliates - Ancestral Quest, Rootsmagic and Legacy. AQ is now version 14. I can't speak for RM and Legacy as I am not involved with those two. W. David Samuelsen
