    3. If you have access to Ancestry, they may have city directories for LA, and do have a lot of LA including the years you need (Remember that directories are usually a year early in information. However I suspect you might do better contacting the Salvation Army.     3. I don't have access to ansestry. tks Eliz  my real mother lived there while pregnant with my older sister in 1941. I beleive she was in a home when she was pregnant with me. I was born 1955. I am trying to find out who my real dad is.
