ANSWER TO BELOW: Carola, Here's the obit....from "Genealogy Bank" Gretchen FORMICHELLI, JOSEPHINE: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Times Union, The (Albany, NY) - Sunday, September 10, 2000 Deceased Name: FORMICHELLI, JOSEPHINE SCHENECTADY -- Mrs. Josephine 'Jo Mary' Ferro Formichelli, 57, of Curry Road Extension, died Friday afternoon at her home, after a long illness. Mrs. Formichelli was born in Schenectady and was a 1961 graduate of the former Linton High School. She worked at Ellis and St. Clare's Hospitals in Medical Transcriptions and as a X-Ray technician. Mrs. Formichelli was employed by several area doctors as an X-Ray technician. Later, she was a full-time mother. Mrs. Formichelli was employed by the Visiting Nurses Association of Albany as a billing specialist from 1985 to 1998, due to the advancement of her illness. She owned and operated her own crafting business, 'Original Designs by Josephine'. Mrs. Formichelli was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Schenectady. She and her husband were members of the Italian Community Center in Albany. Survivors include her husband, G. Robert Formichelli, whom she married June 26, 1970; two daughters, Melissa Gabriella Formichelli and Gina Maria Formichelli, both of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Mrs. Ted (Francine) Whitman of Bennington, VT and Vicki Ferro of Clifton Park. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, beloved family and friends. Funeral services Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the N. Rossi & Sons Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets and then to St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Franklin Street, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 10 o'clock. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
