I have been looking for Richard's actual death date and place and his parents for several years. He is in Wayne Co., KY 1840 census and disappears from those records after that. His children, at least those I can verify, continue in Wayne Co. living with Coffeys. There is a Benjamin in Woodford Co., 1810 . His birth date is ~1795, died in IL 1852. His daughter Polly married Thomas Collins 17 Nov 1815.In the 1810 census he has 9 kids under age 16, 5 male under 5. There is also a Burrell Elam ~1793 m Elizabeth Davis living in Wayne Co. 1850, in Metcalfe Co 1860. Burnett (or Bennett) Elam 1795 married Rachel Coffey 1797 in Wayne Co., 18 Jul 1820. They later divorced. Does anyone have these possible connections so that I can rule them out or in? Thanks for any help. Marcy
