    1. [ROOTS-L] Frank Biermeier (b.03.Dec.1878)
    2. The individual named in the SUBJECT above is my Step Grandfather; he was Widowed when his First wife died while giving birth to twins in 1904, one of the Twins survived. He later married my previously Widowed paternal Grandmother in 1907. I have records for him back to his birth in Bohemia, his entry into the United States, a 1900 U.S. Federal Census, a copy of his FIRST marriage in November, 1900 in Texas, and a tale of the birth/death event. I am SEEKING documentation of his FIRST WIFE'S DEATH and the DEATH of one child. 1) First Wife => Anna Roemisch. Born 08.Sep.1876 in Rosshaupt, Bohemia. Died 18.Sep.1904 in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It has been said that the birth attendants may have been a Volunteer Religious Group. 2) His first Wife's died in Oklahoma when giving birth to twins, one of whom survived. The birth (and death of Wife & death of one child) is reported to be 18.Dec.1904. 3) Despite numerous attempts I am unable to get a Record of the deaths OR the birth of surviving twin. 4) It is reported they were traveling by Train, possibly to meet relatives already living in Ramsey County, St. Paul, Minnesota. I have not found a record for him on the 1905 Minnesota State Census (conducted 05 .Jun.1905) or in the St. Paul Directory suggesting he hadn't yet arrived (it's 169 days between the birth date and the State Census (date 18. Dec. 1904 & 05.Jun.1905). 5) I have a record of his second marriage to my Widowed Grandmother in 1907 and he appears on the 1910 Fed. He walked out on his family Wife and 10 children sometime between 1910 & Sep.12.1915 when he registered for the WWI Draft in Grey's River, WA, on 12.Sep.1915. He next appears on the 1920 Fed. Census as a Boarder in Catslop, Oregon. He died in 1932 and is buried in Washington County, Oregon, in the Zimmerman Family Cemetery. Can anyone suggest how I can recover a document for Anna nee ROMEISCH BIERMEIER and a un-named son who died on 18.Dec.1904 in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There appears to be NO official site for recovering this information !!?? L. J. (Bud) Swendner Half-Vast Family Researcher
