I have tried everything to locate parent names for my 2x great grandmother Laura Davis who was supposed to have been born in 1824 in Camden East Upper Canada. Laura Davis married Samuel Greatrix/ Gratrix on the 3rd of November 1851. Laura may have a sibling by the name of Matilda. Laura Davis passed away on the 8th of September 1885. I have hired a genealogist who has yet to locate records that show Laura's parents. I have also taken the FTDNA family finder and mtdna test along with the test through 23andme with no success of finding a common cousin with Laura Davis. Thank you for any help you may provide.
