I've downloaded and installed Family Tree Builder. 1. It appears to me to be satisfactory for maintaining a family tree, and it can be synced with a copy of your personal tree on MyHeritage, if you so choose. 2. I have not gotten any malware with it, nor would I expect to get any. Why do you ask?
