For the past couple of weeks, when I search a family member in FTM and try to view their information that it finds, such as a US census record, all I get is a black screen where the record should be. I've written to them several times, but never get a response from them. If I go out to Ancestry and do the same search, I don't have that problem. I can live with doing it this way, but it would make it easier to be able to see the records from FTM. I'm using FTM11. However, what happened a little later last night, I have never had happen before. I had closed FTM, and a little later I thought of something I forgot to look for. I opened FTM and there before me was a family tree I had no idea who it was for, other than containing 4 or 5 Moorhouse names, one being a brother of my grandfather, I did not know any of the other people in there. They had names of Moorhouse children, born in the 50's or 60's, but neither their father or mother had the last names of Moorhouse. None of these people, other than my grandfathers brother were ever in my data, and this tree, had none of my other families in it Has anyone else ever experienced this? I've been doing this since back in the late 70's and never experienced anything like this since I sarted using FTM products they first hit the market. I could close FTM and reopen and it was still there andmine was gone. I did this several times and it always came up, rather than my tree. I did go in and pull up my latest backup of FTM and it's been OK since then Just wondered if anyone else ever had this happend and how it happened. Russ Moorhouse
