    3. Good afternoon, We have subscribed to a new database called HistoryGeo.com<http://www.historygeo.com/v2/forlibraries/> that will help patrons doing genealogy research: This resource is available at all Fort Worth Library locations, but at this time there is no remote access. Links have been added to the Library's website on the Databases and Genealogy pages. Here's a description from the vendor: HistoryGeo.com is a subscription service from Arphax Publishing Co. that helps you take your family history research to a whole other level: analyzing the places behind your people and the events that shaped their lives can reveal so much more than mere documents. For instance, you can quickly discover your ancestors' neighbors, many of whom intermarried or migrated together. HistoryGeo features two unique mapping tools: the First Landowners Project and the Antique Maps Project. The First Landowners Project delivers over 8 million original landowners in a single map layer, with more to come. The Antique Maps Project, which is growing weekly, features 4000+ maps from around the United States, most of which feature landowners from different periods. And international coverage will be coming soon. Do a quick surname search on our homepage and you'll get a sense of the breadth of maps and indexed data available to you. Thousands (if not millions) have relied on our books for years, and now our work is available in its entirety, 24-hours a day. HistoryGeo.com is listed in Family Tree Magazine's Top 101 Best Websites for both 2012 and 2013.
